Overview DarkSpin respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you upload audio for personal analysis. What We Collect User-Provided Audio: Audio files you choose to upload. Processed solely to provide analysis results to you.

Account Data: Email if you create an account.

Technical Data: Device type, OS version, crash logs to improve the app.

We do NOT collect your music library, streaming history, contacts, or location.

How We Use Your DataTo analyze audio you upload and return results.To maintain and improve DarkSpin.To communicate about your account if needed.We do NOT sell your data. We do NOT use your audio to train AI models for other users.

Audio StorageAudio is processed for analysis and then deleted from our servers within 30 days, unless you choose to save results in-app. We do not share, distribute, or publicly play your audio. Analysis results are stored locally on your device where possible.

Third Parties No third parties receive your audio.If you use future integrations (Spotify/Apple Music), those platforms have their own privacy policies. We may use anonymous crash reporting (Apple Crash Logs) - no audio included.

Your Rights (UK GDPR)You can request deletion of your audio and account by emailing info@darkspin.co You can request a copy of your data

You can delete the app to remove local data

We respond to requests within 30 days.

Children: DarkSpin is not for children under 13.

1. What DarkSpin DoesDarkSpin provides audio analysis tools for personal insight. Users can upload audio they own for analysis. DarkSpin does NOT provide, stream, host, or distribute music.

2. User Uploads and OwnershipYou confirm you own or have full rights to any audio you upload.You retain all ownership of your audio.You grant DarkSpin a limited license to process your audio solely for analysis and to display results back to you.You will NOT upload copyrighted music you do not own, or third-party content without permission.

3. Prohibited UseYou agree not to use DarkSpin to infringe copyright, distribute audio, or upload content that is illegal or violates streaming platform terms (Spotify, Apple Music etc).

4. Analysis Only - No DistributionDarkSpin does not store audio for public playback, does not create a music library, and does not stream music. Analysis results are for personal use only.

5. Streaming Integrations (Future)Future integrations with streaming platforms will be subject to those platforms' own terms. DarkSpin is not affiliated with Spotify or Apple Music.
